I don't review a lot but the crew of Barx Parx take such good care of my girl, I just have to give them kudos. She has human and four legged friends and really looks forward to her time there. I like that all the dogs have been tested for compatibility, as I've taken her to random dog parks where some dogs can be aggressive. There's always enough staff members and the number of dogs in any particular area is limited by the staff's ability to watch them. A+ all the way around.

I started as a basic member but she enjoys her time there and it's good for her to have time to be a dog, so I upgraded for the discount on visits. It's worth it.

Oh, and the last picture shows that we do spring for the peanut butter treat so it's another thing to look forward to a couple times a week.

After adopting Baxter, I immediately thought about the different daycares I could take him to and all of my friends brought up Barx Parx. Taking him to Barx Parx was the best decision. He LOVES going and playing with the park rangers and all of his friends. Since I started with Barx Parx, I’ve had nothing but positive interactions with every worker. They take the best care of meeting his needs and are extremely communicative with my partner and I about how he’s doing, scheduling daycare, boarding, and grooming. Thank you to everyone at Barx Parx for taking great care of Baxter. When we go on walks now, he walks me straight to my car because he keeps wanting to go back. 🙂 I can’t wait to see how he continues to grow with my partner and I as well as with all of you!

We have been members for one week, so far so good. We joined to socialize our recently adopted 8 month old puppy, Scout. She is doing a lot better since coming to the play time with other dogs. Their hours are great and the employees, Park Rangers, are really good and patient with all the dogs (and the people.) Barx Park is a well thought out operation and we're looking forward to using the daycare and overnight boarding in the next couple months.

Insanely great choice. Indoor, temperature controlled park lets you use it 24/7/365 (crucial for those Vegas summers), parks separated into high and low energy dogs to best suit your needs, cute events all the time, all dogs there are tested for behavior before being able to be allowed in (plus current vaccines are mandatory (PLUS theres always an employee in each park monitoring the pups)) so you know your pup is going to be safe and dont have to worry about random aggressive dogs, the list goes on but now I'm doing a run-on sentence so I'm putting a period right here ->. Sentence two. Which is now technically sentence three, if you want to consider that last one as a thing. Anyway; sentence four: the facilities offered are great, asides from the dog parks there is also a dog treadmill, dog wash areas, daytime and overnight/extended boarding, breed-specific socials, puppy training, obedience training, food trucks and booze on fridays, and you can tell from the very first second that each and every employee there truly loves the dogs. Knowing each dog by name, their little quirks, their likes/dislikes/etc, each employee continuously demonstrates unrelenting care and compassion for each and every dog that walks through those doors. And they're all so friendly! Truly just a great, chill place. If you're on the fence about joining, please give it a shot. You won't be disappointed.

We recently relocated from the East Coast and were looking for a good daycare and boarding facility for our Yorkie-poo. She was used to attending daycare daily back home when we worked long hours.

On a Saturday while running errands, we decided to check out BarxParx. We took a tour and noticed a strong smell of urine, but the place was packed with dogs, so we decided to give it a try.

I paid for both a temperament test and a two-hour behavior assessment upfront. Our 20-minute temperament test was scheduled for Saturday, August 31st. When I arrived 15 minutes early, the staff were either standing around or busy at the front desk computers. After taking my name, they told me to wait. I observed and waited for someone to take over the testers position in the dog park for about 20 minutes. During this time, only one staff member acknowledged us. The urine odor was still overwhelming, and my dog was too uncomfortable to even be placed on the ground, so she stayed in my lap.

For the temperament test, my dog was introduced to a small park with four other dogs and did well. There was one male dog that persistently tried to mount her, but the tester effectively managed the situation with firm commands. The tester seemed skilled, so I don't fault her training abilities. My dog passed the test, and we scheduled the two-hour behavior assessment for the following Monday. However, they tried to charge me again despite my payment being recorded in their system, which was a bit frustrating but manageable.

As soon as we got home, my dog developed diarrhea, which continued for days. I initially thought it might be nerves, but the problem persisted still today. I wanted to like BarxParx, but the facility's strong odor, uncleanliness, and the subsequent illness my dog experienced make it difficult for me to recommend it. I suspect that the lack of a proper floor drainage system to wash the floors and infrequent mop changes contribute to the unhygienic conditions.

Sweet staff, I’ve gone for dog park, training, grooming, and day care (boarding pending.) staff are always super helpful, sweet, and quick/efficient in breaking up any puppy quarrels. I’ve gone probably a dozen times or more, and have never had a bad experience. Vera also loves it there, comes home happy and tired.

Love this place & all of the employees! My dogs are so excited to go & they have the best time. It’s a super friendly place that is safe for my senior dog & my puppy to play. Stephy the trainer is AMAZING. I Can tell that everyone there only wants the best for my dogs & they truly care about every dog that enters the door.
