Best decision I ever made for my Sage was sending her off for the obedience board and train at Gungho Dog Training! I looked at other training programs/places for a year and am so glad I settled on this one! It was very apparent from photos, videos and previous reviews that these guys really knew their stuff, really loved the dogs and were devoted to them, their training, and their well-being! The only thing I wish I could change looking back now would have been to send her there a year ago!! She’s got so much confidence now and it’s so amazing to see! Not sure how they managed to train so much in such a short period of time but I couldn’t be happier! It really is worth every penny to have an obedient dog, if you’re considering it, just do it, I promise you’ll be just as satisfied with the results! Sage says hi and we both cannot thank Micah and Cody enough!!

Our experience with my Gungho Dog Training was absolutely phenomenal. From the moment we dropped off Moose for his 4-week stay, I was impressed with the level of professionalism and care that was provided.

Throughout the entire training process, Cody kept us updated on Moose’s progress and provided detailed feedback on his behavior and training milestones. I could tell how dedicated and passionate Cody & Micah were about helping him improve his obedience and behavior. Sit, stay, heel, and kennel are just a few that have continued greatly since being back home with us.

When we picked up Moose after his stay, I was blown away by the transformation. Not only did he have impeccable obedience skills, but his behavior had drastically improved (he actually listens to us!).

Our sweet pup Luna stayed with Cody for his 4-Week long Desired Dog board and train program. Our experience was excellent. Each week we got to visit Luna and saw incredible growth in her skills and confidence. We were able to ask questions and get advice on how to best support her training at home.

Now that she is back home with us she has maintained her training and is doing very well. We have taken her on several trails and her recall is fantastic. Her heel/walking is wonderful too and she will actually get into that position naturally when she is tired from running around.
She kennels with no issues.

We feel really confident taking her places after her training with Cody and Micah and we would recommend their services to any dog owner.

An overall exceptional service. The 5-star reviews are correct, Gungho Dog Training is a true hidden gem when it comes to dog training. We sent our 7 month old pup Kobe for a 4-week board and train with Cody and Micah. The promises of the board and train were to teach basic obedience over 4 weeks by using time tested techniques tailored to our pup. The whole process was extremely professional and most importantly it didn't feel like our pup was just a number in a system. Kobie was genuinely happy and well cared for every time we visited for progress updates. Cody and Micah ran our pup through numerous distractions and guided us along every step of the way so we could maintain the obedience at home. We've developed a new improved relationship with Kobie going through this process. Our expectations were exceeded and we would use this service again in a heartbeat. Thank you!

Oh my goodness, how much can I say after a few classes with Cody & Micah, & two board & train sessions with our Great Dane, Bruno. We also ordered the online course when initially met them. We struggled with crate & potty training from the gate. We were told that he was both when we received him, but clearly not. After 2 weeks of trying to do this on our own, right when my daughter was about to give up, & after investing a few thousand into him, I saw these stellar reviews here & we went to a class with Cody. Shortly after, he took Bruno for almost a month & returned him crate & potty trained. We were relieved! Able to sleep! Then in Nov ‘23 we brought him back for round 2 of the board & train program. He is sooo amazing now! He listens! It’s like night & day! He was pulling my waif of a daughter around prior & now he walks with her & next to her. I would say from 100% difficult level, he’s an honest 90% EASY level now. My daughter is no longer giving up & we learned some extremely valuable tools from Cody & always utilize them since Bruno completed his last month with him. He always answers questions & does follow-ups with us. It is all so worth it. Don’t give up on your babies if you need help. I highly suggest Gungho Dog Training… & get the help that you & your dog deserve. I’m so very grateful to have found them & for the fact that my daughter went from wanting to throw in the towel one day to excited to using their tools… I don’t know what kind of magic Cody did on Bruno but was it ever worth it! They covered other areas as well on topics that we never even thought of & we implemented them as soon as Bruno came home & they work! We know that WE have to continue to do the work that we were taught, but it’s so worth it in the end for us & Bruno. We’re definitely going to use some on our 3 1/2 & 7 year old dogs as well. Important: * We know that Bruno was loved as they told us how they care for the dogs who are trained with them. You can see how much in the way that they speak without aggression & rather with a firm kindness. I can see the way that Bruno loves these two & looks at them with a fondness. We are so lucky to have these two… The kindest people that you will ever meet. So valuable in our community {and outside of our community} & with not just our dogs, but us as clients. Cody and his team have worked miracles with both of our puppies over this past year.
We really appreciate and support his philosophy and approach to training. We felt he helped not only the dogs become manageable and happier, but us become more comfortable and confident. We are so glad that we sent our Tommy to Gungho Dogs. He was full of way more energy than we’ve ever seen in any of our past golden retrievers, but Cody and Micah helped Tom and us figure out how to focus that energy? Cody took on the training of my 6 month old gsp Obie first for obedience and then got him started on tasking and public access for service work. Cody had not trained a service dog before but from day one was willing to do the homework needed to provide exactly what we needed. 3 months of training was fast for a pup to come home ready to start working. The foundation Obie received from Jeremy and Cody speaks for itself with anyone who sees Obie out in public, the more experience he gets doing the work the better he gets everyday. Thank you Gungho dog training for all the hard work to get Obie started right.
