Came to get a aluminum oil pan repaired. I gotta say there isn't service like this any more. Bill is a OG old timer from welding to machining he can do it here. Gave me a cold beer and went to town on the repair on a Sat afternoon! There isn't a price on that kind of service.

On short notice I brought in a piece of luggage with a broken aluminum frame to be welded together. In a refreshingly honest response he said it would be a difficult job because of the proximity to flammable material of the luggage, and used strong electrical tape to temporarily repair it for the next trip. Bill Hund's workshop is in an industrial neighborhood which can quickly be accessed from I580. He has an impressive amount of equipment so if you have any broken metal problems with cars, motorcycles, boats, bicycles, non-fabric luggage, etc. give Hund Welding a call.

I was looking for a welder to do a tricky job, welding onto a rusted out bracket on my 1974 BMW R90/6 motorcycle. Talked to Bill Hund and he told me to come on over. Giant old warehouse/welding shop w/all sorts of machines. Bill was able to analyze the situation and come up with a solution that was far better than I had hoped for and less than the cost I had expected. He also had the right tools, including a crane to lift the bike into position to reach a small area under the handlebars. Bill's colleague Ron was a 'two for!' Ron helped me get the very awkward wiring right. Not an easy task. Combined, Bill and Ron worked over and above the call of duty and got my horn working, -- w/a solid weld on the bracket (better than the original BMW) -- after 30 years of being broken! Now I can re-register my classic airhead and ride legally! I unequivocally recommend Bill for your welding needs. He's honest, skilled, fair and friendly!

I had an Aluminum bicycle frame broke in half. I went to a couple shops and they gave me prices more than the bike itself. I talked to Bill and he said to bring it in.
He did a so fine job and I'm
so happy about it. He is an honest man and I would recommend him to anyone who needs to get work done right.

Called him out of the blue with a motorcycle welding / muffler need and he said come on down. I was in need of a very specialized type of help and Hund Welding & Machining took care of those needs in one stop shopping. Within an hour or two I was on my way all my problems were solved! How cool is that!
