It is a welcoming, wonderful place. It's also perfectly in line with the Conservative Movement. Unlike Ohev Shalom, where the Conservative Movement is mocked and your value is measured by how much money you have, Temple Israel accepts you for who you are. And the dues are actually reasonable. Men and women are treated the same, as they should be. No gender is above the other. Girls and boys receive the same education and opportunities. Congregant participation in services is a huge part of the synagogue.
For all those who value egalitarianism, justice, righteousness, and the equality of all people, please come to Temple Israel. I don't want anyone to have to endure the trauma I went through at Ohev Shalom.

If you are looking for a Community to become part of your Family and lifestyle, Temple Israel is a most friendly, caring, helpful, and most of all we have many wonderful programs for Adults, Children, and the wee one’s as well.
Our Rabbi is filled with Spirituality, to guide the young people in Kadiima , Brit Hamidrash , and the most in Interesting Sermons!
The Congregation is warm, welcoming, and will be most happy to be of help to a new Member or just a Visitor considering a New Shul her in Longwood/ Winter Springs.
Come to Friday night Services, or Saturday Morning..
You will feel very much at home, and most comfortable with our Synagogue.
