A friend referred me to Dr. Hu and I’m very glad they did!

In 2020 I had cervical disc replacement surgery for C3-4 & C4-5. I have two additional herniated discs C5-6 & C6-7 that remain today along with Thoracic outlet syndrome. I have done extensive work both before and after surgery with PTs, Pilates, massage, cupping, acupuncture, Rolfing, you name it I have tried it.

I’m physically active - swim, run and surf 3-5 times a week and I consider myself pretty experienced with recovery treatments for my various injuries and conditions.

I first saw Dr. Hu after a chiropractic adjustment inflamed my neck so bad I couldn’t turn left or right. As soon as Dr. Hu started I knew it was going to be helpful. His ability to identify and target my root pain has been remarkable. After the first session I felt significantly better and was back to (my) normal after 3 sessions. No high-velocity adjustments, no medication, no surgery, just very focused sometimes intense acupressure followed by heat, acupuncture & EMS treatment. Thank you.

I was referred to Dr Hu from my Spine surgeon/specialist from Cedars after six months of physical therapy and a not so good MRI test result. He said he personally sees Dr. Hu, he stated some surgeons would do surgery, or be sent to a pain doctor, but his recommendation was for me to have acupuncture twice per week. I have had about 10 sessions two per week, and I am 85% better. This is the best I have felt in eight months, the results have been amazing. Doctor Hu generally cares, great bedside manner, and a master at his craft. I highly recommend him!!!!!!!!

Dr Hu was recommended through a fellow runner. I had suffered for several months with a foot injury. I was first told by an orthopedic that it was a possible start of a stress fracture and to stop running and wear a boot, which I did. 6 weeks into injury, I decided to see a podiatrist who diagnosed me with capsulitis of the foot. The recovery plan was to stay off of the foot and wear metatarsal pads until recovered. Another 6 weeks past and still no relief. I decided at that time to see Dr Hu. Within 8 sessions my injury was completely relieved. I could tell by session 3 the treatment was working. My only regret is I didn’t see Dr Hu sooner. I highly recommend his treatment. I found Dr. Hu through Google. It is so fortunate that I found his website. I was desperate; in extreme, throbbing nerve pain in both arms and hands, but mostly in my left arm. Excellent acupuncture experience!! Dr Hu saw me on Friday night after work because I had such bad back pain that I was having difficulty walking. He worked on my back and when he was done, I walked out feeling normal! No joke. It was like a miracle!!! Next day the pain came back a little but then slowly got better. I went to go see Dr Hu because of chronic low back pain. After a few acupuncture sessions with Dr Hu i definitely saw the difference. I was able to walk and stand more. If you’re looking for cheap keep looking but if you are looking for good Dr Hu is your Doctor.
